Character Name: Ludwig Beilschmidt
Gender: Male
Country: Germany
Age:23
Student or Teacher?: Teacher
Class/Classes: Ludwig is the Track & Field coach, as well as the school's German teacher.
Character Information:
Likes: Ludwig enjoys cleanliness, neatness, and tidiness in all forms. He also likes beer, strength, being organized, being in control [save for certain situations. IVAN.], BDSM, beer, wurst, animals [particularly dogs and cats], metal music, baking and sweets, beer, athleticism, reading, helping kids through tough situations, beer, und other manly things.
Dislikes: Ludwig dislikes messiness, not being control [see above likes], wusses, disrespectful people, American beer, laziness, and recklessness.
He is a serious man that doesn't wait around. He's efficient, will get the job done, and has great work ethics. Too bad he can't handle tears or emotional instability very well. Hint: breaking down in his class is a great way to make him freak out and possibly get out of school for a day or two. He treats women with absolute respect, a human characterisation of chivalry, maybe even a hero to some. He considers himself bisexual, because he finds both men and women attractive.
He really is there to help the students, and is a likable teacher. As long as you finish your laps.
Past of the character (Hows life outside school?):
Ludwig was born in Munich, Germany. To be honest, his life has been nothing short of bland. Boring. Dull. Remarkably unremarkable. Whatever you'd like to call it, it works for his life. He remembers his teenage years all too clearly, and it consists of nothing but straight A's, Oktoberfest, plus Rammstein and Oomph!, which remain his favorite bands to this day. He did go through a bit of a bully phase, but he really regrets ever making those choices. He's quite rich, thanks to his parents' large inheritance. He moved to America when he was 17. Enter college diploma in education. This is what finally shook up his life a bit. Not by much. But a little. All the high school drama kind of woke him up to the thought that there are, in fact, other people out in the world. And to this day he uses his job as a coach and teacher to help all the kids he can through the heaven and hell that is high school.
Roleplay Sample (Show us how you play):
Ludwig stood out in the track, dressed in a black tank top and blue basketball shorts. Pretty stereotypical for a Track coach, yeah, but he broke the stereotype of having a megaphone. Oh no. He didn't even need a megaphone.
He stood on the edge of the dirt track, stopwatch in hand. He was helping a cheery male juniour train for a marathon for teens that was occuring in the next city over. The boy was doing really well, two and a half miles in 15 minutes and 43 seconds. The fatigue was taking its toll, though, as the sweat dripped off of the juniour's face and his breathing became more difficult to control. Ludwig decided it was about time for a rest, and plenty of water. He shouted across the track for the boy to stop, his voice travelling further than it needed. The boy slowed to a halt, and he clicked the stopwatch. "Good," he roared, beckoning. His voice became softer the closer the blonde approached. "You're good for today, you look exhausted. Go get some water."
"Alright." the boy panted, grabbing his shirt sleeve and wiping his face. He trotted over to the water fountain and stayed there for a good two minutes, coming back looking less tired. "Thanks for the help, Mr. Beilschmidt."
Ludwig nodded, grateful he could help. "It was no problem at all. You'll do just fine in that marathon. And if you want any more training, come see me again sometime this week, okay?"
"Sure, sir, and thanks again." Ludwig's lips quirked up at the formal title as the boy turned and grabbed his bag. He really loved respect.
